AWC rain-preparation guide

Rain finds the
weak details first.

A blocked drain, overflowing gutter or failed exterior detail can become a bigger repair. Start with what has leaked before.

Free checklist · 12 observations · No contact form required

Tile roof valley and gutter along a stucco home.
Safe access only. Use photos and observations from the ground or other safe areas. Stay off roofs and unsafe decks. For rising floodwater, electrical danger or unstable structures, keep clear and follow emergency guidance; call 911 for an immediate threat to life.

01 / Your property

Follow the water path.

Work through six areas. “Not sure” means it needs a look—not that damage is confirmed.

02 / From concern to a written scope

Get the right repair scoped
before you commit to it.

For a small, clearly defined maintenance item, useful photos may be enough to start a quote. Recurring leaks, uncertain drainage, waterproofing, difficult access and multi-trade work usually need a site review.

  1. Send the context.Property address, one wide photo, close-ups, previous leak history and access details. Photograph only where it is safe.
  2. Confirm the area and access.AWC reviews project fit and explains whether a service visit or written evaluation is the practical next step.
  3. Review the written repair scope.Where appropriate, compare Good, Better and Best. Better focuses on stronger preparation and repair details for longer service life.

Prefer the website contact page?

Not a whole-property certification or engineering, insurance or concealed-leak report. Destructive openings, testing, permits, specialty access and repair work are separate unless included in writing.

03 / One contractor. The right service path.

Already know where the problem is?

These are All World Construction LLC service sites—not separate contractors.

Roofing, engineering and other specialty work are coordinated with appropriately qualified professionals when required.

04 / Before the next heavy rain

A few checks worth doing early.

Keep the inlets open

Look beyond a clear grate.

Remove loose debris from safe, accessible private drain inlets. A clear grate does not prove the connected pipe or outlet is working. Recurring backups need review.

Check the complete path

Water needs somewhere to go.

Note where runoff collects and where downspouts release it. Do not bury stucco drainage details or divert the problem onto a neighbor.

Document previous problems

Start where it leaked before.

Keep safe photos of overflow, ponding and staining. Caulk does not replace failed flashing, and window weep openings must remain clear.

Show us the concern.
We’ll help route the next step.

Send safe photos, the property address and what happened during the last rain.
